Culture:
The newly-established Cultural District in the city's North End is
where you'll find the Kelowna Art Gallery, the Rotary Center for the
Arts, the Kelowna Library, Skyreach Place, Waterfront Park, and the
Grand Okanagan Lakefront Resort. Cafes, bars, and art galleries nearby
enhance the ambience. Many world class entertainers have played
Prospera Place since the 6000 seat venue opened in 1999; including Rod
Stewart, Elton John, Matchbox 20, Nickleback, and Bryan Adams, just to name a few!
